I'm not following that at all . . .? The cells are flat just like competitive non-3D solar cells. Please explain if you care to

If you have a single flat cell and get 1x power and if you made a mini-panel consisting of four identical cells they should yield essentially 4x power.

Now what I always wondered was whether the glass that covers the cells assembled into the panel would reflect too much light negating the underlying efficiency of the cells. That's why I was pointing out that they needed to build a prototype panel as well back in the day.
